German Lands

The Germanic people are scattered, without a unified state. Rather, a collection of merchant princes all hold sway over various sized territories of towns and cities. Although constantly vying for power against one another, when threatened by foreign invasion, the Germanic people will rise to the defense of their home, uniting the Princes until the threat passes, and inevitably the alliance shatters.
