In an act of desperation during the Last War, after several major defeats across the European theater, a great magic was unleashed in Russia as their armies were recalled. A sinister fog now covers the border to the land - rumor has it that no one enters, and no one leaves.

Very few people have ever met a Russian in the past fifteen years, and those who do have their stories doubted.

None know of what the state of Russia is today - it's now simply the Fog of the East.
