Velka, Chief Sentinel
Velka is a human Englishman in charge of the Sentinels, the colonists responsible of the defense of Cragwater itself. While all are expected to raise arms when needed, the Sentinels primary function is to maintain guards and lookouts day and night, within the camp and critical locations. Velka has a fearsome temper and has shown his sadistic tendencies on both the natives and those who fail him. While hated, his skill at coordinating the Sentinels and the safety they ensure has kept his place within Cragwater, for now.

Individually, he is a veteran of the Last War, a decorated longbowmen, proficient with his oversized orcish bow, as well as wielding a shortsword & buckler. Velka served with Durnin, and has a strong personal loyalty to his old sergeant.
