  Attempts to transmute did not work, and water conjured away from the Curse was turned salty when crossing the threshold.

• TODO: Test blood on conjured water
  • ratio testing. start with one tiny vial of salt water and add fresh droplets of blood, see if there's any change as you add more blood.
  • magic testing. try using arcane magic right before / while adding fresh source of blood. try a cantrip, and on free days, try using a slot on it.
  • as an aside from the other two, detect magic on the water? are there any traces of magic left on it? what about after adding the blood?

• The Saltwater curse starts several weeks out from the New World's shores, turning conjured water to saltwater - whether its conjured in that moment or was successfully conjured as freshwater earlier. This cursed saltiness persists through transmutation. Source
• While testing by generating water via magic, was overcome by a strange vision. A moment of intense loneliness, darkness, and lungs full of salt. Further tests have been inable to recreate this experience. Source
• Tears to wine made of the salt water creates a salty wine. Fresh natural water that was transmutated does not become salt. Source
